As part of the Sam’s Business Bus Entrepreneurial Programme we will be running free online live Zoom lessons for schools and classes to attend in the month of May. As a teacher these sessions are valuable in breaking down the programme’s key topics and engaging pupils with entrepreneurship. These webinars will be delivered by our Programme Mentor, Laura, who will also be available for any questions you or your pupils might have. Lesson 1 – Entreprenuers and Entrepreneurship

Yes , they are two really big words, but by the end of today’s lesson, you’ll know everything there is to know about both concepts. We will learn all about Who entrepreneurs are What entrepreneurship means How to identify the characteristics of an Entrepreneur.

Lesson 2 – What are your goals?

A goal is something you aim for. It is an idea that you have for the future that you committed to achieve in the future. Goals are very important for many reasons. In this lesson, we are going to learn how you can bring your business to life by setting out and achieving your strategic goals.

Lesson 3 – What are your values?

Tuesday 7th November at 11.00 am

Thursday 9th November at 1.30 pm 

Values are our principles or standards of behaviour or our judgements about what is important in life. These can be anything. You might value kindness, friendship, loyalty, and more. In this lesson, we are going to learn about the place of values in the world of Business too.

Lesson 4 – What is your vision?

A vision is what the organisation wishes to be like (or what we want the world to be like) in some years’ time. It is a vivid mental image of what you want your business to be at some point in the future, based on your goals and aspirations. In this lesson, you will learn about what is needed to  create a vision statement.

Lesson 5 – What are your strengths?

SWOT analysis is a tool used to find out the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats that are expected in a project, business venture, or something similar. It helps us understand the situation by looking at both internal and external factors. In this lesson we will explore how to use SWOT
