Mr. Hill’s 6th class took part in SBB attending live virtual weekly lessons from November to April. The class learned all about who entrepreneurs were, how to create a vision and a mission for your idea, how your personal values affect the values of your business or idea, how to conduct a SWOT analysis and how to put together goals, strategies and action plans for a business or idea. Pupils throughout the virtual lessons had amazing ideas such as a glass bottle business, an electric car business, dog shelters, community services and much more. Some students even featured in an article in the Echo alongside our engagement officer Gráinne and their teacher Mr. Hill to tell Cork all about their experience with Sam’s Business Bus.
About the Programme:
Sam’s Business Bus is a bespoke entrepreneurial programme aimed at sowing the seeds of entrepreneurship with school children and inspiring young people to become the entrepreneurs of the future.
